Felt Flannel Board Props: Make five
to ten butterflies or ladybugs out of felt or craft foam. Use the verses
below with the felt props on a flannel board.
Butterflies/Lady Bugs
Ten little butterflies all quite feeling fine, one kept on flying and then
there were nine.
Nine little butterflies all looking for a mate, one kept on flying and then
there were eight.
Eight little butterflies flew towards heaven, one kept flying and now there
where seven.
Seven little butterflies got caught in a fix, one kept on flying and then
there were six.
Six little butterflies passing a bee hive, one kept on flying and then there
were five.
Five little butterflies playing some more, one kept on flying and then there
were four.
Four little butterflies rested by a tree, one kept on flying and then there
were three.
Three little butterflies wanting flower stew, one kept on flying and then
there were two.
Two little butterflies having no more fun, one kept on flying and then there
was one.
One little butterflies didn’t feel like a hero, he/she kept on flying and
now there are none.
The Butterflies/Lady Bugs
Five butterflies/lady bugs wishing for more. One went away and then there
were four.
Four butterflies/lady bugs flying by a tree. One went away and then there
were three.
Three butterflies/lady bugs eating berry stew. One went away and then there
were two.
Two butterflies/lady bugs trying to have fun. One went away and then there
was one.
One butterfly/lady bug felt like a hero. He/She went away and then there
were zero.
Five Little Butterflies/Lady Bugs
One little butterflies/lady bugs feeling rather blue, along came another and
then there were two.
Two little butterflies/lady bugs flying past a tree, along came another and
then there were three.
Three little butterflies/lady bugs by the front door, along came another and
then there were four.
Four little butterflies/lady bugs glad to be alive, along came another and
then there were five.
Five little butterflies/lady bugs all having so much fun, they went into a
cave and then there were none.
