Plant Viewer base is made of clear acrylic. Base legs are made of plastic and slide onto clear acrylic base. Measures 10 1/4" x 8 1/4".
Use dirt to grow seeds and plants so the children can see the life cycle from seed to root to plant.
Use Watermarbles (sold under section "sensory items" or "science items") with seeds and plants. The watermarbles make the roots more visible for the children to see. If watermarbles are used you don't have to water the plant as much. When the watermarbles start to shrink add more water to hydrate them. The plant will absorb the water from the water in the watermarbles.
You can use dirt, watermarbles, sand, wet paper towels or wet wipes with the plant viewer.
